For as long as I can remember I had begged Grandpa to grow a moustache, but he wouldn't do it. Finally I pulled out the "big guns" and said, "If you love me you'll grow one." Hey, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Finally he grew one, came to the restaurant to show me and then went home and shaved.

This is a picture of my mother-in-law, Jane Carson and Tommy Lasorda taken in the kitchen of Carson's Country Kitchen. Tommy's wife, Jo is from Greenville and still has family here. They usually come to to town a couple of times a year and always eat at Carson's at least once during their visit.

Oh, by the way............about those Slim-Fast endorsements Tommy did.........Do they even make meatloaf flavored Slim-Fast?!?
